Cinematography is a complex job.

Many human, technical and practical elements have to come together at the perfect moment to make a great shot.

Many great shots have to come together to make great films.

My job is to assist cinematographers in this complexity. I do this by taking care of the cameras and lenses, setting up and preparing the equipment for the shoot, and assisting in many other things in order to get the shots.

Naturally, I'm adept at pulling focus if requested, in close collaboration with the cinematographer.

My experience encompasses a diverse range of projects, including short films, commercials, documentaries, and feature films.

With a background as a former high-end rental camera technician, I possess extensive knowledge of various camera systems, lenses, and accessories.

Additional experiences include operating high-speed cameras like the Phantom Flex 4k and Phantom Miro, as well as utilizing high-end gimbals such as the Movi Pro.

Some of my experiences:

  • 5+ years of experience as 1st & 2nd assistant camera

  • Former tenure as a high-end rental camera technician for over 3 years

  • Proficiency in operating high-speed cameras and gimbals

  • B-camera operation skills

  • Steadicam Operator

  • Post background as a graduate VFX compositor & VFX Set supervisor
